Common terms used in solar street lights and solar power generation

1Air Quality AM (Air Mass)

3Radiation

4Solar Cell

10Parallel system (Grided System)

The PV array output is converted into AC by the inverter and connected to the mains or the self-supplied generator. The system does not need to be equipped with a power storage device.

11Hybrid System

12Kilowatt (kW)

the unit of calculation for the capacity of power generation equipment; 1 Kilowatt, = 1000 watts (Watt).

13MW (Mega Watt)

Millions of watts, usually measured in units of Sun Optoelectronics' capacity.

14Ampere hour Ah (Ampere Hour)

Another type of electrical energy representation, usually used for battery capacity, 50Ah means 5 amps for 10 hours or 1 amp for 50 hours, but battery capacity cannot be fully utilized.

15Load

The power or current output per unit time during a specific time.

16Power Conditioner

The general name for the power regulation function device, the controller for the battery charge/discharge regulation, or the converter for the DC conversion AC regulation.

17Charge Controller Charger)
